Research and decision analysis, not advisory.
The primary commercial wedge is Acquisition & Target Intelligence: reconstructing the relevant market, verifying legal and ownership reality, comparing viable candidates on one basis, and testing whether a transaction makes sense against building, hiring, partnering or doing nothing. The same method is applied to commercial due diligence and market entry.
Zeph does not execute or negotiate transactions, approach targets without client authority, raise capital, or provide regulated financial, investment or legal advice. It is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Where a decision needs regulated advice, that is taken separately from an appropriately authorised adviser.
The standard the work is held to.
Official filings, regulatory registers and primary sources take priority over commentary, aggregators and company self-description. Where a secondary source disagrees with a filing, the filing wins.
The strongest case against a conclusion is published alongside it. Where the work has corrected itself, the correction is recorded rather than quietly absorbed.
An attractive business can be unaffordable, unavailable, or strategically wrong for this particular buyer. Those are separate findings and they are kept separate.
Observed facts, supported inferences and estimates are graded and never merged. A figure that does not exist is not produced to make a page read better.
Where a material regulatory or entity question is open, it stays visibly open. Work does not ship because a deadline arrived.
What Zeph will not claim.
There are no testimonials on this site, no client logos and no revenue figures, because there are none that can be stood behind. Record counts are held across separate populations and are never merged into a single flattering total. The case material published here is independent research, anonymised, and was not commissioned by the companies referenced.
Zeph is an independent practice and is not currently incorporated as a limited company. No company number or registered office appears on this site because none exists. The contracting party for any engagement is identified in that engagement’s letter.
